THE LAUNCHING OF HONDA DUAL POWER

Jakarta, 21 May 2008 - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) is going to launch a new type of motorcycle named Honda Dual Power (DP). As mentioned in the brand name, DP has dual power that working by gasoline and solar power. The launching will be held on 25 May 2008 in Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center.
DP has futuristic and stylish design. The body of DP makes an impression as a modern and sporty motorcycle. It will be produced in Plant 1-Sunter by using high qualified manufacturing technology of AHM. DP comes with three variants in color. They are blue sky, light green, and white fresh.
The Executive President Director of AHM, Sulistyo Widjaja said, “DP is environment friendly and suitable to against global warming because it has dual power.” He believes it is a good contribution to the world as a new revolution in transportation that is energy frugal.
DP was offered with the price of Rp 32.500.000, 00. The target market is young people between 20-30 years old. With that price, DP can give the new sensational for the driver who wanted appear stylist as well as sporty.
AHM is the biggest of motorcycle manufacturer in Indonesia. It was established in 11 June 1971 by the name of PT Federal Motor. Since 2000, this company use the new name that is represent the ownership by PT Astra International Tbk and Honda Motor Co.
